BioAbout me?! Well to put it in the simplest terms, I'm a Japanologist and United States Coast Guard Auxiliarist who has particular tastes, loves Japan (cause I'm Japanese-American as well) and has an odd fascination with military culture (I plan on becoming a commissioned officer in the Coast Guard in a few years). YES, the USCG IS a military service. I joined the Coast Guard to make something more of myself and stop living in my head so much. Another benefit is that I get some experience working with the Coast Guard and learning about its bureaucracy, missions, and overall ethos. I have a strong dislike of fads, consumer culture, and drug addicts. I can't stand save asses, and I won't abide kiss asses. Yeah, Semper Paratus Coasties!
This journal is mainly about my life and the little odds and ends that I find amusing. Thus far it's been chronicling my existence from my sophomore year of university onward. There's no particular theme to it so don't look too deep into it.
